Marita van der Vyver visits Poznań

The renowned Afrikaans writer from South Africa, Marita van der Vyver will be visiting UAM on the 19th of April. Marita is known for books like Childish Things (1994) and Entertaining Angels (1996) but she is also an acclaimed writer of youth novels and translating the Grimm Brothers\' stories into Afrikaans.

She is considered to be one of the most read authors from South Africa and her books have been translated, among other, into English, Dutch and French. She will present an informal workshop, for all who are interested, on her work, translations and other travel experience. This meeting will take place on Friday the 19th of April at 11:30 in Novum, room 601.
