call for papers

Proposals of interdisciplinary papers by BA, MA and PhD students (or graduates yet not PhD holders) related to all fields of linguistics are invited.

The conference meetings will be subdivided into sessions dealing with several research areas:

  • psycholinguistics / neurolinguistics / clinical linguistics
  • cognitive linguistics
  • sociolinguistics
  • language and meaning
  • language and culture
  • language and cognition
  • language and technology
  • second language acquisition
  • language teaching methodology
  • lexicography

We would like to announce that due to numerous e-mail enquiries, we are also planning to organise a grammar session.

In contrast to the former edition of YLMP we also invite poster sessions.

Apart from block sessions, there will also be plenary lectures, delivered by our keynote speakers.

Numerous workshops pertaining to the above mentioned areas of research will be organised. Please refer to the relevant bookmark.

addressees / prospective participants

The conference is addressed to students who are enrolled in a Ph.D., M.A. or B.A. program or are M.A. holders and do not have a Ph.D. degree awarded at the moment of abstract submission.

This restriction, however, concerns only those who are planning to deliver a presentation. Other interested parties who do not fulfil the above mentioned requirements and are willing to take part in YLMP2010 are welcome to join without a presentation of their own.
