About ECIEC

The East Coast Indo-European Conference (ECIEC) is an annual meeting of specialists in Indo-European linguistics and philology, mostly from or trained in the United States. This year's conference, hosted by the Faculty of English of the Adam Mickiewicz University from June 21 to 24, 2013, will be only the third held outside the USA, and the first ever on the continent of Europe. Speakers from the USA, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Japan will give talks on a wide range of topics ranging from Proto-Indo-European phonology to verbal morphology and phraseology, and on languages as diverse as Latin, Vedic, Luvian to Tocharian.
