The Faculty of English website is run using the Drupal Content Management System. This means that it is a "community website" where a lot of the content is provided and maintained by the users.
The site is largely maintained in a decentralized manner, with a contact person (“Web Leader”) in each organizational unit. This person is responsible for the maintenance of existing content, and creation of new content associated with the activities of that unit.
The list of Web Leaders is provided below. Please contact your Department’s Web Leader with the following matters:
- Updates of information on the courses your Department is responsible for;
- Creation and updating of your Department’s subpages;
- Updates of personal staff pages within the WA website. Note: If you have an external personal web page, that remains your own responsibility;
- Announcements regarding the activities of your Department (e.g. meetings, lectures etc.). Note 1: This may be passed by the Web Leader on to dr Michalski and his team, who will decide where the announcement should be placed, e.g. in which WA News section. Note 2: Learn here how you should prepare content to have your announcement posted.
Suggestions of changes and improvements to “central” content, e.g. the “General Information”, “Organization”, “For students”, “Research” and “Downloads and Resources” sections, should be submitted directly to the Dean's Representative.
**Technical** problems, as well as **most urgent** requests that require immediate action within the same working day (by 15:00), may be reported to the Computer Centre at helpdesk@wa.amu.edu.pl .
