Faculty of English Advisory Board
Four distinguished professors have been invited by the dean to become members of the Faculty of English Advisory Board (FAB). The goal is to obtain advice, consultancy and constructive criticism on the management strategy of the Faculty. The members of the Board are appointed for four years (the dean’s term of office 2016-2020).

The first annual meeting of the Faculty of English Advisory Board (FAB) took place on the 16th of June 2017 at WA, AMU.
FAB members were hosted by WA dean, vice-deans and the head of studies. By way of introduction, our team presented the most important facts from the past and present of the Faculty of English. We talked about the history of English studies in Poznan, the years of the School of English (IFA) and the creation of the Faculty (WA) as well as its strategy for the forthcoming years. The whole-day-long discussion that followed revolved around the four strategic aims concerning excellence in research, teaching, management and contacts with the outside world. The exchange of views was lively and constructive. Our colleagues shared their experience from their own universities and other institutions they have collaborated with around the world. This resulted in a large number of valuable directions and more general advice addressing specifically our needs.
