Dear all,

The English phonetics and phonology examination for 1BA will take place in TWO SEPARATE ROOMS IN TWO DIFFERENT BUILDINGS, Collegium Maius and Collegium Minus, on Friday, 21 June, 11:30 hrs.

Please make sure you report to the correct room as detailed below.

The seating is calculated with very little spare room. If you report to the wrong room, you may be refused entry. Please make 100% sure you know where your assigned room is. Co-ordinate with other people in your group so that no student is left behind.

(1) We will open the doors at 11:20. Please be there on time. Have a photo ID ready, in your hand, to present it without delay to the examiners at the entrance to the room.

(2) All students in Academic (ogólna) groups are to report to Sala Śniadeckich on the second floor of Collegium Maius, Fredry 10.

(3) All students in other specializations (Teaching, Translation, Theatre) are to report to Room XVII at Collegium Minus, Wieniawskiego 1.

(4) Any unaffiliated people who may not have been assigned to a specific group in an unambiguous manner, please report to Sala Śniadeckich on the second floor of Collegium Maius.

Please disseminate this information among yourselves using all channels available.

Note that the weather forecast for Friday is not catastrophic at the moment. However, it still is summer, and Sala Śniadeckich is not air-conditioned. Also, the exam is a written exam; we are interested in what you know, not what you wear. Therefore, please wear neat but reasonable clothing to ensure maximum comfort, especially in terms of temperature. Suits are not necessary, and in particular ties are not recommended. Please bring water or another non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Note that the use of mobile phones will be strictly forbidden. If you depend on your phone for time, obtain a watch (not a smartwatch) instead.

3.    Egzamin ustny/Oral exams

Oral exams will take place on June 24th (Monday) to June 26th 2018 (Wed.). Specific lists of students and the examination rooms will be posted on Wednesday, June 19th 2019.

Students taking PNJA exams are required to have credits for all PNJA classes. Without this requirement, students will NOT be let into the examination room and will not be allowed to take the exam.

Please, come to the examination room 20 minutes before the start of the examination and be prepared to show your student ID and your essay code.
