We are happy to announce that the Young Linguists’ Meeting in Poznań will take place from 4-6 April 2014 at the Faculty of English, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (www.wa.amu.edu.pl/ylmp/). Young Linguists' Meeting in Poznań (YLMP) is a congress organised by and for young linguists who appreciate the significance of interdisciplinary research and therefore want to go beyond the traditional branches of linguistics. The leitmotif of the upcoming 2014 edition of the congress is: "Directions in interdisciplinary linguistic research: Embracing diversity". The plenary speakers, who have already confirmed their presence, are renowned specialists in their fields: Paul Baker (Lancaster University in the UK), Heiko Motschenbacher (Goethe-University in Germany), Srikant Sarangi (Cardiff University in the UK), Johanna Kissler (Bielefeld University in Germany), Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland) and Jane Sunderland (Lancaster University in the UK). Apart from plenary talks, the meeting will offer a spectrum of workshops and presentations in interdisciplinary linguistics.
It is our pleasure to communicate that – apart from other websites with conference listings – this year YLMP has been listed on biztradeshows.com
