Following the success of the first Moodle workshop for PNJA teachers, we would like to announce that the second session – this time for all IFA staff – will take place on Friday, January 15 at 3:00 pm in 204A.
In the second session we will follow the same agenda as in the first one, which means it is for absolute beginners and there are no entry requirements regarding your Moodle skills.
However, there are some technical and formal requirements (see below) you will have to meet if you decide to participate.

You do not need to bring your laptops – we’ll be working on 204A machines.

Entry requirements
To take part in the workshop you need to:
1. have a working IFA email account (can you log in at https://wa.amu.edu.pl/mail ?)
2. have a working account on IFA Moodle (go to http://wa.amu.edu.pl/moodle and see if you can successfully log in)
To get a new IFAMoodle account (if necessary) or to recover a lost IFA Moodle password, please contact Mikołaj Płaczek, our Moodle administrator.
Sign-up procedure
Once your IFA Moodle account is ready, you can sign up just by emailing Michał Remiszewski. There can only be 10 participants per session, so first come, first served!
MOODLE WORKSHOP (2nd SESSION) – PROVISIONAL AGENDA
1. Introduction
1.1 navigating through and searching the IFA Moodle platform;
1.2 course types and various forms of access; user types and
privileges;
1.3 enrolling in a course;
2. Managing a course and materials
2.1 setting up a new course;
2.2 basic course settings;
2.3 managing course topics
3. Adding and editing basic resources (uploading files; using the editor; pasting from MS Word etc.);
4. Administering a course
4.1 managing participants;
4.2 basic communications (News forum, personal messages);
5. Managing a basic assignment.
(Points 4 and 5 will be covered as time allows. We plan for the session to take about 90 minutes.)
