The Theatre and Drama in English Programme is designed to provide students with the practical skills of English and it will give them knowledge of the dramatic and theatrical practices in English. It is the only theatre and drama programme taught in English in Poland. A variety of subjects related to the theories and histories of theatre and performance are the focus of our programme. The students will also be offered some practice-based study units.
Our programme is designed in accordance with international standards of Theatre Studies, the way it is taught and researched at English-speaking universities. We are cooperating with the School of Performing Arts, University of Malta, which will give our students the opportunity to be taught by some of the best teachers and researchers in the field of Theatre and Performance Studies.

Program specjalizacji teatrologicznej na studiach licencjackich został zaprojektowany z myślą o poszerzeniu wiedzy studentów na temat dramatu i praktyk teatralnych. To jedyny program teatrologiczny w Polsce nauczany wyłącznie w języku angielskim. Teatrologia na WA oferuje przedmioty związane z teorią oraz historią teatru i performansu, jak również zajęcia praktyczne.
Nasz program jest zgodny z międzynarodowymi standardami studiów teatrologicznych. Wzorujemy się na najlepszych praktykach nauczania i prowadzenia badań wypracowanych na anglojęzycznych uniwersytetach. Współpracujemy z prestiżowym ośrodkiem teatrologicznym School of Performing Arts Uniwersytetu Maltańskiego, co oznacza, że nasi studenci będą mogli czerpać wiedzę od najlepszych wykładowców i badaczy w dziedzinie studiów nad teatrem i performansem.
