Expanding upon last year’s morphonology session,
this year we would like to broaden the area of investigation and
propose a return to the question of the position and the role of
phonology within grammar as a modular system.
In particular, we welcome papers dealing with one or more of the
following interfaces:
Finally, of special interest are the relations between the lexicon and
phonology, and the interdepen-dency of representation and derivation.
Below are but a few exemplary issues we would welcome during the
discussion:
Of course, phonological papers from outside this scope are also welcome.
At this stage the following scholars have confirmed their participation
in the session: Nikolaus Ritt (Vienna), Jerzy Rubach (Iowa and Warsaw),
Tobias Scheer (Nice), and Rajendra Singh (Montreal).

standard presentation time apply.
