We are happy to announce that the forthcoming Poznań Linguistic Meeting will include a session on the history of English dialects.
It is intended to examine the range of linguistic variety of
historical English dialects and to explore the history of regional
variation in English of not only England but also Ireland, North
America, etc.
Each paper will be given 30 minutes (20 mins for paper presentation +
10 mins for the ensuing discussion).
Abstracts of 400 words or less (including references) should be
submitted via e-mail to both Radoslaw Dylewski at dradekifa.amu.edu.pl
and Adrian Pablé at adrian.pableens.unibe.ch by February 15,
2006 with notification of acceptance by March 1.
All submissions will be reviewed by the International
Advisory Board. Participants are requested to register at the
registration page.
