PLM2026 social events and lunches

Lunches are not provided, but there are multiple options within easy reach.

The canteen of Collegium Heliodori will be open throughout the conference, offering simple hot and cold food and beverages at competitive prices.

There are multiple restaurants in all price brackets within walking distance of Collegium Heliodori, offering a wide array of of cuisines. Some suggestions are marked on the map below; however, this is not an exhaustive listing and many more eateries are available, in particular in the cluster to the northwest in the district of Jeżyce, e.g. along Szamarzewskiego street.

All PLM participants are invited to the launch event of the Cambridge Handbook of Natural Linguistics at 17:30 on Tuesday. This will include, in addition to the book launch itself, some free food, and a short concert. Please make sure that you arrive at the City Hall at Plac Kolegiacki 17, as marked on the map below (which is different from the historic Town Hall in the Old Town Square) on time as the building is a working civic building with some security, and the timing is a little tight.
