The Memorial of Isaac Dyason Senior of /
Port Francis on the Kowie. /
Humbly Sheweth /
That your Memorialist having /
purchased an Erf at this Port, and having become /
a resident there is very desirous to obtain an /
an employment, and should it be your Excellencys /
intention to appoint Persons to various situations /
there that may be wanted; He humbly begs leave /
to offer himself a Candidate for One _ /
That your Memorialist having /
received a Letter from Your Excellency stating /
that Sir B. T. Farguhan had written to you /
on my behalf, and that you would bear his /
recommendation in Mind when I could point /
out any thing to suit one, induces me to hope /
that your Excellency may be pleased to appoint me /
to something that I may be Competent to, and that /
may benefit my Family, for which if granted we /
shall as in Duty bound ever Pray _ /
