Your Memorialist begs humbly /
to State that He has expended during the /
last four Years a very considerable sum /
of Money in permanent Buildings. Cultivation /
Inclosures 7+c. 7+c. and that a great pro=portion /
of his Crops of Grain 7+c have an=nually /
/been\ destroyed by Rust. Storms 7+ and /
from not having had the advantage of /
Rations, as a Settler, through those trying /
Seasons his expences have far exceeded /
his returns. and memorialist is /
consequently /

and pray that your Excellency will be /
Kind Enough to Grant him the Loan of /
Fifteen hundred Rix dollars on the usual /
Terms. /
And Memorialist as in duty /
bound will ever pray /
