To His Excellency the Right Hon Lord Charles Henry
Somerset Governor of the Colony of the Cape of Good hope
&c &c &c my Lord _
We Beg leave to lay Before your Excellency the Case of
the Nottigham Party. that being a Large Party of
86 Clamonts
and having neither a Place for Publick worship nor
school nearer then 10 or 12 miles
and Being Greatley encouraged By the Honorable
Commisiner Mr Hayward
we having Begun to Build a Place for Publick worship
and a Scoolhouse we Begin to fear that we
Cannot raise sufficent to Carrey on the Building
Therefore we Beg leave to lay our Case Before
your Excellency: that it may Please you to
Grant us a Loan of 500 rix Dol _ __
