The Petition of William Wead
Horticulturalist and Settler
Humbly Sheweth
That your Petitioner came out
to this Colony as an articled Servant to
the late General Campbell and remained
under the direcction of his Mistress untill
he obtained his discharge from her

That your Peitioner humbly solicits
your Excellency to grant him a Colonial
Pass that your Petitioner may be enabled
to follow his occupation
That your Petitioner hoping
that your Excellency will not refuse him
the tenor of this his Petition will as in
duty bound ever pray
