The Memorial of William Ford
Humbly Sheweth
That your Memorialist has remained
on His Location ever since he came to the
Colony._
That your Memorialist has had
taken from him by the Caffres fifteen
Head of Cattle and part of his House
washed down by the Storm._
That your Memorialist has about
five Acres of Land in a good state of
Cultivation, about Fifty head of
Cattle and a Waggon._
That your Memorialist is
anxious to increase his Number
of Cattle &c. And humbly prays
your Excellency will be pleased
to grant him a Loan of Seven
Hundred Rix dollars and your
your Memorialist as in Duty bound
will ever pray &c &c &c
