humbly Sheweth, that through
the Many ill conveniences I
haved had Undergone and having
a large family to maintain in not
obtaining my free pass which as
been applied for through Colonel
Cuyler near four months ago,
and the Landdrost has now
advisid me to write to your Excellency
which your most humble Petitioner
Beggeth you will have the
goodness to forward to Colonel Cuyler
Landrost at Uitenhage and your
Humble Petitioner As in Duty bound
