May it Please your Excellency
The Petition of George Rye Labourer of
Grahams Town late of Lushington Valley
Humbly Sheweth
That your Petitioner came out to
this Colony under the direction and in the employ of
Mess Dyason & Co of Lushington Valley, has a regular
discharge from their Service, and humbly begs that
your Excellency will be pleased to grant him a Colonial
pass to enable him to accept a situation
that will be much to his advantage and for which
as in duty bound he will ever pray,
