Pringle, Thomas

Sir
My Sister in law, Miss Janet Brown, having obtained a
Situation as Governess in a family in Cape Town I am commissioned by
her to solicit for her the favour of being permitted to leave my party
of Settlers now on board the Brilliant Transport at Simons Bay and
to come up here with her luggage as soon as may be convenient.
As Miss Brown is besides of a delicate Constitution & not well fitted
to endure the hardships of a new Settlement it will particularly oblige
both her & myself to be allowed this indulgence.
I have the honour to be with high respect
Sir
Your obliged & obedient Servant
Tho. Pringle
