With feelings of the greatest respect and
gratitude for the very prompt and liberal
attention that all applications from the Settlers
have met with from you, I beg leave most
Humbly to submit the enclosed petition, to His _
Excellency to you, and most earnestly entreat; that
you Sir, will cause the same, to be laid before
him for his consideration; and assure you, for
that whatever order his Excellency may be pleased
to make in respect thereof, the Petitioners will
rest satisfied the same will be founded on
the strictest Justice and humanity _
I beg leave Sir most respectfully
to subscribe myself.
