I have the Honor to acknowledge Your Excellencys commands
by Letter of Saturday last, for the Sanction of Your Name
to a Subscription for the Support of my Family . . . And While
my Gratitude is excited by Your Excellencys Philanthropy
and Kindness … May I Take the liberty to inquire wether
Mr Erith will be allowed to come down here, as Your
Excellency named an Idea of granting Him a Colonial
Pass _ _ If Your Excellency grants one. the Period that
must elaps till their arrival. I could be trying to
employ aided by the Subscription) in such a manner
as would be realizing a Mentenance for my Family.
Or at least I should endeavour to find employment to
that effect _ . . .
