His Excellency the Governor having
been pleased to promise me a grant of Land
in the Zuurevelden for the purpose of
cultivating it,
I have to request that you
will be pleased to solicit his Excellency
to grant me, as also to those attached to me,
a passage to Algoa Bay onboard of the
first Vessel employed by Government
that may be going in that direction.
