The Memorial of G H Felton
Memorilast begs leave to state that
he came out from England in Mr Howerds
party and receaved A portion of 100 Acres
of land upon wich he built A House &c
but Memorilast meeting with Ill success
he Enlisted into the Cape Regment and
was dscharged by the Honbl Captain
H Somerset the 25 th of March 1822
Memorilest then returned to His said
land wich he found Mr Howard had
taken Posision of saing Memorialist had
forfited to him Memorilest than Applied
to H Rivers Esqr Landrost who sansioned
Mr Howards Prosedings . .
Memorilest Humbly Prays your
Exelency will alowe him to have his land
again as it is Memorialist intention
to Cultivate as much of the land as Posable
as he has no other way of getting A livelywod
And your Memorilast is ever bound to pray &c
Should his Exelency not be Pleased to
allow Memorilest to have his land again
Memorialest humbly Prays his Excelency
to Alow him A Colonele Pass or A Pass
for England at His own Expence
