The Memorial of Bishop Burnett
respectfully Sheweth.
That Memorialist on pleas variously
urged to your Excellency, conceives
his title to the pecuniary aid recently
granted to the distressed Agriculturalists
paramount over all others
That under such considerations he
asks for a pecuniary advance proportioned
to the merits of this title.
The highest advance stated in your
Excellencys proclamation _ remuneration
for his losses occasioned by such
acts of injustice on the part of the Colonial
Government as he can establish . _
and the account of his actual expenditure
incurred by the refusal of
Rations to this istablishment, during
the period of their iSsue to the other
Settlers .
That without full, or approximating
compliance with these requests . _
Memorialist solemnly protests that
his views, intent, and object of
enterprize

enterprize in this Colony are
defeated only by the injustice of
the Colonial Government.
He therefore respectfully
solicits of your Excellency
that an advance of not
less than Five Thousand
Rix Dollars may be ordered
to him, or a free passage
to England for himself
and the persons necessary
to the confirmations of his
claims there.
