We the undersigned being very
anxious to join the intended Colloney to the Cape of
Good Hope, and not possessing the Means to engage
the Families,, humbly sollicet your Lordships advice
and information on the following points _ We have
been sollicetid by Messrs. Whitly & Co of Liverpool, who
inform us, that they have engaged a number of
Families and that a ship will sail from thence.
Now we wish to know wether a vessel will be
freighted from the port of Liverpool and when,
and in such case if we could be permited to join
Messrs. Whitly & Co _ And we wish further to state
to your Lordship that we can command the Sum
of 200 over and above the Governments Deposet
and should be glad to be informed of the best Goods
or Articles to take out to the intended Colony _
Inclosed we have inserted a list of our families
and occupations, and remain your Lordships
