I did myself the honor of writing to
you on the 28 ulto, to request you would be
pleased to allow me, to substitute fresh names
in my list of families going out to the Cape
settlement, having been permitted to take out
twelve families, I presume no Objection
will be made to my filling up such vacancies
as may occur, with persons of the Same description
having deposited the full sum required by
Government for Myself & Twelve families _ I
have to hope my request may be granted._
