I had the honor to memorialize you
in July last for a track of land extending
along the bank of the Kaap River S S. West
being two thousand Morgans more of less _
also for pecuniary aid, and since in a recent
letter, for one thousand Dollars; of which I have
only received six hundred, and will feel
particularly obliged by an order for the
remaining four hundred Rix dollars. _
Mr Rivers in his late Pamphlet has charged
me with fifty rix dollars as a gift which
I beg to inform you is incorrect I am
