situation for Memorialist /

Bond in favour of M\r/ Retief /
payable the Currant year amount=ing /

That Memorialist has /

feels himself unable to do /
having laid out the small /
capital which he brought /
with him from England in /
building on the said Erf small /
dwellings which yield 130 Rds /

Memorialist therefore takes /
the liberty of soliciting your /
Excellency, to direct that a /
Loan to the Amount of 2500 /
