May it please Your Excellency /
The Memorial of Christopher Webb most humbly /
Sheweth /
That your Excellency’s Memorialist who belongs to the /
Salem party and is by profes+sion a Shoemaker has been the subject /
of very serious misfortune since his residence in this Colony _ That /
he resided upon his Location during a period of Four Years and /
has sunk a Capital of several Hundred pounds /sterling\ and therefore /
your Memorialist humbly prays that your Excellency will /
be graciously pleased to grant him a Loan of 500Rds and /
for which he will give security by House and Land in Grahams /
Town and will feel himself in duty bound to pray /
