The humble Petition of John Wilson /
Humbly Shewith /
That your Petitioner came out of /
England in the Party of M\r/ Tho\s/ Rowles, whare I remaind from April /
1820 to June 1824 Striving by every means in my powir to /
get a living that thro the falure of Crops by Rust 7+c 7+c _ /
and los+s of Cattle by Caffires your Petitioner for want of Stock aftir /
his los+sis was compleld to go out to work for a Subsistence addid /
to the above los+sis he as likewise to state that he lost nine Head of /
Cattle Cows and Calves and fifteen Pigs by Wild Animalls and that he likewise /
had the Misfortune (thro want of proper Information) to build and plow /
on the land belonging to M\r/ W\m/ Owin on which account he as been obliged /
to quit and as now to Build a fresh house and brake up new land, undir /
these circumstancis your Petitioner Humbly prayeth your Excellency /
to Grant unto him a Loane of five Hundred Rix Dollars to enable /
him to Return and live on his Land for (which purpose he left his /
native Contery) and nothing but extream disres+s wold have /

compeld him to quit It. trusting that Your Excellency will /
take his circumstances in to your consideration and be /
kind enough to grant him the means of again living on /
his Location and your Petitioner as in duty Bound shall /
