spite of great los+ses on his Location /
(among the rest 50 Head of Cattle /
taken by the Caffrees) has Succeeded /
by the unremitting industry of /
himself and family in accumulating /
a Stock of 80 head of Cattle _ that /
being situated on the road between /
Grahams Town and the Kowie, /
your Memorialist has also /
erected a Substantial Stone House /
of 56 by 17 feet, which he intends /
to employ as an Inn, but from /
