his Family (with the Consent of the Landdrost of /
Albany and your Excellencys Concurrence as will appear /
from the enclosed Copy of a Letter from the former Magis=trate /
to Capt\n./ Stockenstrom) not with any intention of /
relinquishing or neglecting his location having employed /
Men to go on with the Cultivation and Improvement of it. /
And your Memorialist is also expecting shortly the Arrival /
of A Brother from England to take the management /
of his Farm /
Your Memorialist has to regret he has nothing to /
recommend him to your Excellency being a stranger in this /
Country. but the Enclosed Copy of a Letter from his /
Friend SR Lushington Exq\r/ to M\r./ Ellis who is unfortunate=ly /
