the Settlers altoghether _ I have hitherto laboured /
on board the East Indian and in this Colony /
for the Settlers for nothing _ I have a few /
looking to me 7+ to me only for a Medical /

Colonial Government here would have /
remunerated me for acting as the sole /

to the Cape _ Independent of the Medicines /
put on board for the Settlers I expended /
between 8+ 11 7+ 12 worth of My own for /
them _ My Motive now in writing you /
is to solicit the favor of having His /

to me at the Ondersite Port where I shall /
arrive by the Waggons about the 20 \th/ Ins /
and in so doing, you will very greatly /
oblige your very obedient 7+ humble Servant /
