The Settlers under the Direction of W\[m]\ Parker Esq\[re]/ /
We beg leave to inform your Honor /
that we have come to this Town for the purpose of pur=chasing /
some Neces+saries for the use of Our Families and /
Articled Men which we As+sure they Stand much in Need of. /
as we cannot purchase the Same at Klein Valley unles+s /
we pay double price which we can\[t]/ afford as our Money /
is Nearly Exhausted = we have a little Money belonging /
to Other Settlers which we promised to dispose of to the /
best advantage for them in the like Neces+saries as they /
could not leave their families conveniently = now as /
we are so Sadly distres+sed we hope your Honour will take /
our Situation into your consideration and grant us some /
Mode of Conveyance for our goods = one Waggon would /
answer our purpose = we are after walking from Klein /
Valley which is near 200 Miles = and the Nature of the /
Roads we /need\ not Mention to your Honour _ the above /
Request will ever make us in Duty bound to {ever} Pray /
