Stores are to be deducted from the Second instalment /
of the deposit money, I take the liberty of stating to /
your Excellency that I have taken a Small farm /
(Roode Bloom) near Cape Town, as the best mode, under /
existing circumstances, of avoiding farther expence /
and inconvenience in supporting myself and people, /
and as the purchase of Stock, 7+. for this purpose /
will require a considerable Sum, I solicit from /
Your Excellency the indulgence of having the /
deductions made from the third instalment. /
