That your Excellencys /
Memorialist did agree to come from /
England to this Colony with M\r/ /
John Bailey. but ultimately declin’d /
to do so That M\r/ Bailey Paid /
8+25 Sterling as Deposit for /
Memorialist his Family 7+ Servants /
one third of which only has been /
returnd him. The remaining two /
thirds of Such Deposit Memorialist /
has recently been Call’d upon to pay /
as will be Seen by Cop{p}y of Receit /
Annexed. Memorialist therefore /
prays Your Excellency will be /
pleas’d to Ordir him repayment /
of the Said two thirds Deposit the /
full time having expired agreeable
to the Circular of His Majestys

Memorialist feels /
it due to himself to State to Your /
Excellency That he has in no /
Instance Caused any expence to the /
Colonial /
